The Zen Den is a Girl Scout Silver Award project designed and completed by Girl Scout Troop 94235. A Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can receive. In order to complete a Silver Award project, one must create an ongoing change in their community.
The goal of the zen garden is to promote calmness and a place of tranquility for our community. In pursuit of this goal, the garden is full of herbs and flowers that help with de-stressing and having a better mindset. We hope it will draw more people near the labyrinth as well. We also are hosting events to invite people to come over and check it out as well as the labyrinth.
Please feel free to visit the garden and the labyrinth anytime after work, in the morning, or after dinner in the evenings to meditate and relax. We want to give a big thanks for the church working with us and letting us make the garden and the sponsors who donated for the garden. We hope everyone in the church and the surrounding community enjoys the garden as much as we did putting it all together!
